2 fundamental goofs of Dino Melaye in 24 hours

The distinguished Senator representing the good people of Kogi West, Dino Melaye, entertained Nigerians with two unbelievable goofs in the last 24 hours.
Barely hours after the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (Zaria, Kaduna state), Ibrahim Garba, stated that he graduated with a Third Class in Geography in year 2000, the law maker recorded a video to mock his accusers.
And today (Tuesday, March 28, 2017), he wore a ceremonial academic gown to the National Assembly.

1. In the 39 second video posted on Monday, March 27, Senator Dino Melaye stated: “If you speak the truth, you die. If you lie, you die. I, Dino Melaye, have decided to speak the truth and die…”
He then went on to sing, “A j’ekun iya ni o’je; eniti o’to ni no, ti n’de na de ni, a jekun iya ni oje…”
He later started dancing.
The Yoruba song translates as, “A thorough beating awaits someone incapable of beating us who stands in our way.”
And this is a threat in everyway.

2. He donned a purple and gold gown on top of his gray suit to the National Assembly on Tuesday, March 28.
For one, that gown and cap are the ceremonial regalia reserved for high ranking officials of the Ahmadu Bello University, not a first degree graduate. So, where did he get it? Is it not a crime to don a gown far ahead of your qualifications and status?
Again, the Senate is not an appropriate place to put up such a childish show.
And the issue of his name missing from the published convocation list has not even been logically explained.
In all, the Senator goofed!
