2 things Lanre Gentry must avoid now that he’s out of prison

Olanrewaju Gentry, the 52 year old hotelier and auto merchant husband of star actress, Mercy Aigbe, must avoid two things now that he’s out of Kirikiri Prisons  (Apapa, Lagos)…or he would be back there for five long years.

The domestic violence case (FC/AL/25/2017) before Mrs. Davies Abegunde of Ikeja magistrate court in Ogba (Lagos) expressly ordered him to:

  1. Stay away from the mother of his son (Olajuwon), and maintain a one mile radius distance from wherever she is.
  1. Stop assaulting her.

These orders were made on Tuesday, May 2, when the magistrate came to the conclusion that the injuries suffered by the 38 year old actress warranted restraining the father of four children.

The case comes up for hearing today (Wednesday, May 17).

The other case which landed him in Kirikiri Prisons on Tuesday, May 9, is before Mrs. Y. O. Aje Afunwa of Rosaline Omotoso Court in GRA Ikeja.

He was remanded in prison that day after he failed to perfect his bail of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum. He managed to meet the conditions on Tuesday, May 16.

The case, where he’s charged with causing breach of the peace, physical assault and causing grievous bodily, was adjourned to Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
