2017 Democracy Day Celebration: Amosun steps down rally, inspects, commissions projects

As we mark yet another Democracy Day in the annals of our dear country and the 2nd anniversary of the 2nd term of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration in the State, we congratulate Nigerians, especially the good people of Ogun State.

We use this special occasion to once again appreciate Ogun stakeholders for their tremendous support and prayers over the years.

These support and prayers have been largely responsible for the massive turn-around of the fortunes of the State, especially in the area of infrastructural development. As we journey on and continue to work tirelessly to further fulfill our mandate to “Rebuild the State”, we urge you not to relent as it is not yet uhuru.

In commemoration of the day and in appreciation of the fact that the state is “work in progress”, the Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, CON, FCA has directed that ‎there will be no rally at the stadium this year, rather the occasion will be marked with inspection tour of some of its projects across the state.

In this regard, all government functionaries, interested Civil Society Organisations and other stakeholders are invited to join the governor on the trip, which will take off from the Government House, Oke-Igbehin at 7 in the morning on Monday, May 29.

The tour will be rounded off with the commissioning of the MITROS Residences at the GRA, Ibara, Abeokuta.
