The possibility of reconciliation between star actress Mercy Aigbe and her hotelier husband, Lanre Gentry, is disappearing by the day as external factors creep in.
The mother of two children who became entangled to the father of three about seven years ago has taken steps to call her union history.
Here are the three moves the Edo-born actress has taken to further wreck the union:
1. She reported the domestic violence by her husband to Mrs. Esther Ijewere-Kalejaiye, an activist on gender sensitive issues. And wanted advise on steps to take.
Mrs. Ijewere-Kalejaiye referred her to Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team.
2. Aigbe thereafter posted pictures of the physical abuse on social media, with blogs detailing the mess.
3. She went further to file a suit to restrain her estranged husband before a Magistrate court in Ogba, Ikeja (Lagos) on Thursday, April 27.
Mrs. Davies Abegunde ordered that Gentry should keep his distance from Mercy Aigbe, and stop physically abusing her.
These public moves show that the actress is tired of the relationship awash in allegations of adultery by both parties.
All the reconciliation moves initiated by Olanrewaju Gentry have been rebuffed.
