‘It involves a lot of dedication’ – Biola Adekunle
Biola Adekunle a.k.a Miss Peppele. The actress who started in a movie entitled, Okan Oloore is from Abeokuta, Ogun State. The young actress is happily married. She is one of the happening actresses in the industry right now.
Can you please tell us about yourself?
How did your journey into Nollywood start?
It all started in 2008. I had so much passion for acting when I was in primary school. In those days, our teachers would gather us to perform some cultural dances and stage plays. So, it has been in me since then. I have a sister in the industry so she was the one who introduced me to acting in 2008. I joined Odunlade Adekola Theatre Group.
How has your experience been?
The experience has been rough, tough and interesting. It involves a lot of dedication.
Can you tell us some of the films you have featured in?
I have featured in a lot of movies. I can’t remember all of them. Some of them are Monday omo adugbo, Sunday Dagboru, Ite Oba, Ede, Alani Pamolekun, Erin oni, Asake oni bread, Omo okunrin, Okan oloore, etc.
Which movie brought you to limelight?
I can’t really pin point one particular film that brought me to limelight but I’ll pick Monday omo adugbo by Odunlade Adekola.
What are some of the challenges you are facing?
A lot of them. For example, piracy is one of the major challenges of the industry.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
To the glory of God in five years, I wish to see myself as an achiever, a world class business woman, one of the best 10 Nollywood actresses. That’s my dream.
