Olugbemiga Abiodun – son of billionaire oil mogul behind Heyden Petroleum Ltd (Dapo Abiodun) – and his friend, Chime Amaechina Jude, died in a car on Saturday, October 7, 2017, in mysterious circumstances.
And ever since the tragic news began trending, more conspiracy theories have emerged with numerous questions.
But what could actually lead to the death of two promising young men in a parked vehicle?
As we await autopsies, encomium.ng lists the possible causes of death in a car:
1. They could have been murdered.
It’s possible that they were murdered (suffocated or injected with deadly substances) and their bodies deposited in the car to divert attention.
2. They were poisoned.
Food or drinks taken by the duo could have been poisoned. Or they ate or drank something that has expired or contaminated.
3. The air conditioner malfunctioned.
The gas in the air conditioner may have misfired or bad.
This is an unlikely scenario but some claim adulterated gases are in the market.
4. Carbon monoxide seeped into the car.
Carbon monoxide from the exhaust could have leaked into the car.
5. Drink or drug overdose.
There is the possibility of drink or drug overdose.
Or adulterated drugs or drinks.
