New Amsterdam

New to the medical drama genre is New Amsterdam follows Dr. Max Goodwin as he becomes the medical director of one of the United States’ oldest public hospitals, aiming to reform the neglected facility by tearing up its bureaucracy in order to provide exceptional care to patients. Grey’s Anatomy

Can you believe it’s in its 16th season already? Well, for a fictional series that continues to pull on the heartstrings of the young and old, there’s no stopping the surgical interns, residents, and attending doctors at the Seattle Grace Hospital. The Resident

Doctor Christian Jessen, a well-respected British physician, television presenter and writer takes on the cases of real patients who need medical assistance. The new, honest and emotional series starts Wednesday, 1 April on Real Time, DStv Channel 155 at 2:50pm WAT. Tune in as the doctor races against the clock in an attempt to make as many house calls and appointments as he can within a 12-hour shift.
