This morning (Friday, September 15) London was greeted with a bomb blast at the Parson Green Tube Station in south-west, London. The explosion was witnessed by scores as an eyewitness explained that she heard a ‘bang’ and then ‘a wall of flames’.

1. The scene of the explosion was the Parson Green Tube Station. One of the witnesses, a woman, was in the carriage at the time of the explosion.The bomb detonated in a bucket inside a carrier bag in the carriage.

3. There was commotion at the the train station as people scampered off the train screaming and crying.
4. The explosion reportedly sent fire balls flying down the train carriage.
5. The fleeing commuters were affected by serious facial burns resulting from the flying fire balls.
6. About 20 people including a school boy were reportedly injured in the explosion.
7. Police confirmed treating the blast as terrorist incident.
8. A second bomb was reportedly found by cops who plunged down the station.
9. A counter-terror investigation has been launched.
