OODUA People’s Congress (OPC) national coordinator, Otunba Gani Adams and wife, Erelu Mojisola are at the moment in a joyous mood –and the reason is obvious. God has finally answered the couple’s prayer by blessing them with a baby boy, nine years after tying the nuptial knot.
The baby, according to an inside source, was delivered around 3 a.m on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Bethel Hospital, Agboju, Amuwo Odofin area, Lagos. Mother and child, we were told, are in good condition.
The new tot, ENCOMIUM Weekly was informed, has a striking resemblance of his father. This development we were told, has made the joy of the Arigidi Akoko, Ondo State born activist to know no bounds as he was said to be very excited about the good news.
The source further disclosed to us that the Abule Ado, Lagos palatial residence of the elated couple is now a Mecca of sorts as dignitaries and well wishers from far and near keep trooping in to rejoice with the family.
“Gani Adams and his wife are very happy at the moment. God has finally blessed them with a baby boy. I learnt the baby was delivered very early this morning, around 3 a.m. Gani Adams couldn’t wait, he has started celebrating it. A lot of people have been visiting his residence at Abule Ado. In fact, if you’re there this morning, you will mistake the place for Mecca. Everybody was just happy, congratulating him. I learnt he is planning to throw a lavish celebration next week. There is nothing wrong with the wife, no complication at all. Both the mother and child are in perfect condition. Very soon they will be discharged from hospital,” the source squealed.
Commenting on the arrival of the new fruit of the womb, the OPC front liner expressed unlimited joy, adding that God has done him proud by blessing his nine year old marriage with a bouncing baby boy.
“My brother, I am happy and excited. It’s a thing of joy and it really calls for celebration. It’s not an easy thing. You know, this is our ninth year in marriage but I am glad God has finally answered our prayer. He has given us a bouncing baby.”
Asked to comment on the mood of the pretty wife at the moment and the names he would like to give the baby, here is how he also reacted.
“What do you expect from her at the moment? My wife is also very happy and joyous. We are both elated and fulfilled because God has done us proud. But concerning the names you’re asking for, I would advise you to wait till next week for child dedication,” he rounded off.
