Abiodun Akinlade clocks 49, commissions projects, empowers constituents

For three-time House of Representatives member who once represented Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, , it was another attainment of milestone as he marked his 49th birthday amidst pomp and ceremony on Monday, March 21, 2016.

Akinlade is presently the Special Adviser to Hon. Yusuf Suleiman Lasu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The experienced grassroots politician and former federal legislator in celebrating the milestone held a three-in-one programme which included commissioning of multi-million naira projects, mega empowerment schemes and a charitable visit to motherless babies homes in State.

Part of the highlights of the well-attended event also include the distribution of 500 Grinding machines to people of the district as well as the commissioning of a block of 10 classrooms to St. Paul Primary School, in Owode Yewa area of the state.

Beyond the various donations, Akinlade, in the company of his pretty wife, Alhaja Olabisi, played host to friends, family and associates at a sumptuous, loaded reception at the border town of Idiroko.

The gathering, which once again affirmed the popularity of the former House Committee Chairman on Science and Technology among his people, was also not devoid of the presence of notable indigenes including Ogun governorship candidate in the 2015 general elections, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, Ogun PDP party Chairman, Engr. Bayo Dayo, Senator Biyi Otegbeye, Iyabo Apampa, the state Chairman of Omo Ilu Foundation, Comrade Niyi Osoba and all PDP members in the Ogun state House of Assembly.
