ENCOMIUM Weekly’s findings revealed that Mrs. Olagunju had a baby 10 years ago before God decided to bless her again this time around with a baby boy.

The baby was named Oluwatamilore Ayodeji Daniel Olukayode on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at their New York base.

Mother and son are reportedly in top shape but may not be back to Nigeria anytime soon.

Speaking about the development on Friday, October 4, 2013, in a phone chat, Kayode Olagunju, the happy father expressed joy about the arrival of their new tot.  “Thank you very much.  It is quite exciting to be a father once again.”

We also asked further on how it feels to have a baby boy, “I am not the type that takes the sex of a child very important.  Every child, irrespective of sex, is a gift from God.  People were presenting the issue as if we were desperate to have a boy.  But it is okay, we bless God for the gift.”

Why did you wait for 10 years before having another baby?  A lot of people believe you were done with baby making because of the 10-year gap?

He came at God’s appointed time.  His arrival will definitely bring excitement to any parent blessed with a new baby.

We learnt you had the naming ceremony a week after, was it in absentia?

No, I was in New York when my wife had him.  We had the naming in New York.  I came back not quite long ago.

So, should we still expect more children?

I don’t want to talk about that.
