Actress Queen Blessing Ebigieson has every reason to be thankful. The thespian who was involved in a ghastly accident on Wednesday, March 23,2016, is back on her feet and grateful to be alive.

In this chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly, she narrated ordeal…

We learnt you were involved in an accident, how and where did it happen?

I was hit by a tipper. The tipper hit my jeep from behind. I had to jump out of the moving vehicle when it happened. I was on my way to a movie location in Alagadi, it happened at Owode Onirin on Ikorodu Road on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Whose movie location were you going?

Bari White’s location.

Did you sustain any injury?

Yes, I did. On my hand and leg. I was taken to the hospital immediately, but I am better now.

What about the driver?

Yes, he was. He was arrested immediately and taken to the police station. His vehicle is still at the police station. Though he is not the owner of the vehicle, the owner was contacted and they were told to replace my jeep.

What is the model of you jeep?

2002 Toyota RAV 4 Jeep. It was damaged beyond repair. When the tipper hit my jeep, mine hit a highlander jeep in front of me. The man didn’t press any charges because of the extent of damage on my jeep.

They were told to buy another car for me but I don’t think the man can afford to buy a car. We are still negotiating with the owner of the tipper. I asked them to pay 50 percent for a new jeep.

What do you think was responsible?

According to the driver, his brake failed but I fell he was over speeding and he lost control. If the speed wasn’t that much, the effect wouldn’t be as bad as it was.

What lessons did you learn from the ordeal?

I was in church on Sunday. I attended Redeemed Church, I went for thanksgiving. I thank God for my life. I also thank God that I didn’t go with the other car, how would they get money to replace it. I am grateful to God for everything.
