Dr. Adebisi Kuku of Hosanna Clinics, Ilupeju, Lagos, marked his 70th birthday on Saturday, May 9, 2015. His family, friends and well wishers graced the occasion.

How do you feel today, sir?
I am very happy. I am grateful to the Creator who made it possible for me to see this day. It’s not easy because of the environment in which we live in Nigeria, so for someone to be granted the grace to be up to 70 is a rare opportunity. I thank the Lord.
You look young, what’s the secret, sir?
There are a lot of secrets behind that. Since when I was young before I became a doctor, I decided that I will live according to my Creator’s will, which tells me that the body must be taken proper care of. I have learnt to be closer to my God. I eat moderately and drink small. I, as a person, has never enjoyed alcohol, so I drink water mostly. People don’t know the value of water, it’s the only fluid that comes from the Almighty. He gave us to enjoy life. People think because I am a doctor that’s why I look young but it’s because I take proper care of myself.
What would you say life has thought you?
Lots of things, I can’t start listing them now. but being closer to the Creator is one thing that has piloted my life up till now. Also seeking the will of the Most High and endeavour to do all the good things.
Would you say today is the happiest day of your life?
Every day of my life has been a happy day.
