Adekomi speaks on ‘The Last Straw’, her #EndSARS movie

Fast rising Nollywood filmmaker and actor, Kemi Adekomi has gone a step ahead to produce a film on police brutality.
The film (‘THE LAST STRAW’) is about how the now disbanded Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) affects the lives of everyday Nigerians and is also a memorial to all the souls lost to the unit from inception till it was disbanded by the Federal government in October 2020.
It is the first of its kind and she wants the Government and the Police force to see the film, to understand the pains of Nigerians, which brought about the #EndSars protest.
She said: “How long will this go on for? Many innocent homes are plunged into tears by a squad that is supposed to go after criminals and protect its citizens….#ThisBrutalityMustStop.”
Adekomi has other great films to her credit as movie buffs look forward to this new flick from the stables of Kemistrydiva Productions.

We will sure keep you posted when this highly anticipated film on police brutality is out.
