ADRON Homes boss donates bus to secondary schools students

Former American President John F Kenedy said, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” That illustrates the meaning of corporate social responsibility, and the Group Managing Director of Adron Homes and Properties, Oba Akintola Olaonipekun Emmanuel King is making good his promise.

He recently donated a Mac Polo bus to secondary school students in Sagamu to ease movement from schools within the community. He delivered the bus to them in the presence of his royal majesty, Oba Timothy Akinsanya, the Ewusi of Makun Sagamu and Hon. Olayinka Mafe of Ogun State House of Assembly who pioneered the initiative of free students’ bus scheme.

The Chairman of Adron, Oba Emmanuel King told us that, seeing the students walking several kilometers to and from schools for twelve years is not a good story to tell and the best way he can give back to his community is to provide the bus, the driver and conductors for our tomorrow’s leaders. There were also representatives of principals and students at the well attended event.
