Celebrated TV personality, Agatha Amata has completed a multi-million naira edifice in Lagos. The building, at Esther Oshiyemi Street, Ilupeju, Lagos, is meant to serve as Inside Out Media headquarters and studio of her newly floated TV station, Rave TV.
The purpose-built state of the art studio, ENCOMIUM Weekly learnt, gulped over N300 million. But when we contacted Agatha on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, she declined to confirm the worth, saying, “I am not disclosing the worth.”
Agatha described Rave TV as Nigeria’s pre-eminent family channel, stating, “We will be launching it with a full bouquet of programmes from movies to telenovellas, talk shows to lifestyle documentaries to children’s programmes.”
She further added that, “Our flagship live show will be the morning rave which runs from 6:30 to 10:30am. We will also have a youth segment in the evenings.”
The Rave TV studio, a building complex, is well furnished with modern and technologically advanced recording and broadcast equipment with three green screens to enable Chroma Key and CGI Production.
The station, which began test transmissions on Monday, July 22, 2014, is open for outside productions including music video shoots with a fully kitted studio.
ENCOMIUM Weekly’s finding revealed that the multi-million naira structure will be commissioned and dedicated on Friday, August 8, 2014. It will be declared open by the Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Other guests expected at the occasion include the first lady of Lagos State, Dame Abimbola Fashola, Director General, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr. Emeka Mba and Agatha’s pastor, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of The Fountain of Life Church.
