Ailing football great Fregene moved to Reddington Hospital, courtesy of Otedola

At last, better medical attention is coming the way of football great Peter Fregene, courtesy of billionaire mogul Femi Otedola!

The chairman of Forte Oil and Geregu Power Plant has initiated the transfer of the 72 year old former Nigerian goal keeper  – who has been bedridden since 2001 – to Reddington Hospital, a highbrow medical centre in Lagos.

The former Stationery Stores, NEPA and Super Eagles goal minder who represented Nigeria in 1968 Olympics was airlifted today (Friday, June 14, 2019) from Benin airport.

After battling stroke for decades, he will begin experiencing first class medical attention and treatment bankrolled by the chairman of Forte Oil and Geregu Power Plant. Dubbed the flying cat, the Sapele, Delta-born footballer will enjoy the large heartedness of Otedola.

Recently, the billionaire has lightened the burdens of football legend Christian Chukwu with $50,000 donation and actor Victor Olaokun (€130,000).
