Popular nightclub owner, Akeem Shodeinde is set to reopen his nightclub, Movida that has been shut for a while now due to his health challenges.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at about 2:28pm, the excited man said he will soon be back stronger and better. “I am planning reopening Movida very soon. I thank God for His grace upon me and my household.”
Speaking further on how the club (Idowu Taylor, Victoria Island, Lagos) had been closed down since January, that is about 10 months ago, he highlighted the strategies of keeping Movida on top of the game. “The best will always be the best, and with God on your side, everything is possible. Surprise is the most interesting part of life, you don’t break surprise. Let my client experience it.”
We also asked him how fit he is to handle the challenges of the club, he said, “I think I am fit enough to handle it. I will definitely cope.”
Akeem Shodeinde was hit by diabetes and a kidney related ailment which took him off the social circle for some time. He was also rumoured to be dead while he was sick. All these he refuted in a chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly. “I am very much alive. My enemies are the ones to die.”
His popular night club, which was the rave before his health challenges escalated, went down because he was no longer on ground to manage it.
General, as he is popularly called, is getting his groove back. He was also spotted on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at D’Place by Papas. He came in his black BMW Convertible.
