AKEEM SODEINDE agitated over theft allegation at Movida nite club -‘Those peddling the rumour are mad,’ he cries

AKEEM Shodeinde is not in a happy mood right now.  His sadness may not be unconnected with the theft rumour hanging on the neck of bouncers at his Movida night club.

The rumour went viral on Blackberry messenger by an unidentified American woman, alleging that Akeem Shodeinde had turned his popular night club to robbers’ den with the connivance of his armed bouncers. It was alleged that these bouncers were specifically instructed to rob well to do people that patronize the night club of their valuables and money.  It was also said that Lulu Briggs, who is one of Akeem’s supporters, was a victim two months ago.

Akeem Shodeinde, who is just recovering from a kidney transplant he battled for over one year, re-opened Movida on November 29, 2013, after one year.

On Thursday, January 30, 2014, ENCOMIUM Weekly called the General, as he is fondly called, to get his side about the allegation. This was his response, “Those behind that rumour are mad, they have serious mental problem.  My PRO called me about it and I told him I don’t have any business with that.  Lulu Briggs is someone I respect a lot.  How will I now ask my bouncers to rob him or any other person?  Those people are mental patients.”
