Akokwa agog as Ingram Osigwe buries mom (2)

‘She could sacrifice anything to make others happy’ -Mrs. Blessing Ekeoma Oleru, daughter

HER only daughter spoke to us…

MRS CHIDINMA OSIGWE AND MRS EKEOMA OLERUWe sympathise with you on the demise of your mom.  Please, tell us something about her?

I would say my mother was a great woman.  She was a caring and God-fearing woman.  She could sacrifice anything to make you happy.  Such was her life.

She must have given you a piece of advice?

She always admonished me to have faith in God and be focused.

Everybody was practically here.  How does it feel to be so honoured?

For us, it is a thing of joy to have such personalities at our mother’s burial.  That shows people know our worth.

Your prayer for them?

I pray that God will grant them journey mercies back to their destinations.  In fact, I wish them well.

‘My sister will make heaven’-Lady Margaret Oguekusi

YOUNGER SISTER OF THE DECEASED, LADY MARGRET OGUEKUSIFORMER Vice Chairman, Orlu Local Government, Lady Margaret Oguekusi is the deceased’s younger sister. And this was what she said about the late Madam Mercy Ifeoma Osigwe…

What’s your relationship with the deceased?

She’s my elder sister.  We were five, but two have passed on.  We now have our brother and two women.

So, how would you describe your late sister?

She was a good and kind woman.

Can you remember any advice she gave you?

She told me to look after her children and do whatever I can to guide them.

Do you believe she will make heaven?

Wonderful!  As far as I’m concerned, my sister is heaven-bound. She was a caring mother.  She also played active role in the church.
