Alakija is the second richest African woman!

Regularly, the fabulously rich style icon Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija has been dubbed Africa’s richest woman and the world’s richest black woman. Both decorations are not only untrue but far from the truth.

FAMFA Oil’s Alakija is the third richest black woman and Africa’s second richest black woman.

The title of Africa’s richest woman is under the belt of Angola’s Isabel Dos Santos, 43, whose forte is investment. She has a net worth of $3 billion today (Tuesday, May 24, 2016).

Dos Santos, at number 569 on the Forbes rich list, and legendary Oprah Winfrey, 62, an American whose TV shows are popular across the world, are the richest black women. Oprah also has $3 billion against her name.

Alakija, on her part, has $1.6 billion today, and sits at number 1,121 on the rich list.

The 5 top richest women are: 1. Lilian Bettencourt, $36.1 billion (from France, she’s 93 years old); 2. Alice Walton, $32.3 billion (United States of America, she’s 66); 3. Jacqueline Mars, $23.4 billion (United States of America, she’s 76); 4. Maria Franca Fissolo, $22.1 billion (Italian, she’s 98) and 5. Susanne Klatten, $18.5 billion (German, she’s 54)…
