AMAA rocks Bayelsa (2): ‘I dedicate this award to my fans’ – AMAA Best Actress in Leading Role, Clarion Chukwurah

Veteran actress, Clarion Chukwurah had few words with ENCOMIUM Weekly after she was crowned AMAA queen.

How does it feel to be adjudged the best actress in Africa right now?

That’s great! I first thank God Almighty, my fans, my family and the producer of Apeye, without which I wouldn’t have won the award. I also thank my director, Desmond Elliot and my publicist, Cornel Udofia.

What does this award mean to you?

It means my works are being appreciated by not only my fans but film critics and I thank God for that.

What would you say made you win this prestigious award?

I know Apeye is a must-watch movie and we also tried our best.

Congratulations once again for this great feat?

Thank you and God bless you.
