Ambode sacks another GM over Lekki Garden building collapse

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state has sacked the General Manager of Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority, Mr. Toyin Abdul over the issue of Lekki Gardens collapsed building which claimed about 34 lives.
encomium.ng gathered that Mr. Abdul was summoned last week by the Head of Service,  Mrs. Tiwatope Adebowale  Ademola and was told of the governor’s directive that he should throw in the towel.

But when we called Mr. Abdul on Sunday, March 20, 2016, he told us he resigned out of his own volition and not at the prompting of the governor.
“You can ask the HOS and the commissioner for physical planning”, he said.
