Amosun mourns death of educationist, Abayomi Jiboku

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has mourned the death of foremost educationist and High Chief of Egbaland, Chief Abayomi Jiboku.
Amosun described the death of the proprietor of Taidob Group of Schools, as a great loss to the education sector in the country, as it came at a time when his counsel would have been vital in efforts at reviving the falling education standard in the country.
In a statement signed by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Otunba Adedayo Adeneye, the governor said the deceased was a force in the success story of private education in Ogun State.
“Chief Abayomo Jiboku consistently championed the cause of quality education, which is one of the hallmarks of our dear state”, he sad, adding that his he was also in the forefront preserving the Yoruba cultural heritage.
“The Oluwo of Oke Ona Egba, an illustrious son of Ogun State, who was relentless in efforts to preserve the Yoruba cultural heritage, which significantly curbed cultural degeneration in the land”, he added.
The governor condoled with the family of the deceased, praying God to grant his soul eternal rest.
