APC leader, Bola Tinubu sets up N200 million pay TV company

FORMER Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has set up a new pay TV channel.

The new television enterprise called CONSAT (Continental Satellite Limited) has its operational base inside Continental Broadcasting Services expansive base in Ikosi, Ketu, Lagos.

CONSAT will operate in the form of cable satellite pay TV with bouquet and dish.  Already the total package (a bouquet and dish) will soon be rolled out for operation, all these are presently inside their Ketu, Lagos office.  According to an insider, a package of CONSAT will sell for N15,000 and will provide 15 channels which will include CNN, BBC, Aljazeera and movie channels, while 95 channels will be available after a subscription would have been done.

ENCOMIUM Weekly source disclosed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) leader decided to set up his own pay television platform after he had tried to take over assets of HiTV.  GTBank’s terms may have been a clog in the wheel of the deal.  Again, CONSAT will be a better platform for TVC news satellite and TVC terrestrial television stations all owned by the politician.
