The Aquafina Elite Model Look 2014 may have come and gone, it’s one event that still remains on the lips of many on the social scene. The event came to a glamorous end on Saturday, September 6, 2014, with Victor Ndigwe and Mayowa Nicholas emerging winners of the prestigious modelling showpiece.

It was a night of style, fashion and high octane entertainment as the male and female contestants dazzled in different outfits by top class local and international designers. Some of the designers included Sanusi Lagos, Grey, Tzar, Andrea Iyamah, Agbani Darego, Sisiano, Mimi Lee London, among others.

The event justified its billing as the hub for entertainment as it attracted celebrities from all walks of life- from Genevieve Nnaji, Peter of “P-Square”, DJ Sose  to Chief Rasaq and Shade Okoya. Yemi Alade, Praiz, Chidinma, Traffic, Ruby Gyang and Robot Man were the acts that thrilled the massive crowd.

The self motivated Managing Director of Seven Up Bottling Company, Mr. Sunil Sawhney said, “This is the second year Aquafina is getting associated with Elite Model Look Nigeria because we believe that beauty comes from within. If you are talking of real beauty, it is from within. And what better table water product than Aquafina. To be the premium table water brand which talks of purity guaranteed, therein lies Aquafina.”

The winners won $5,000 each and they will represent Nigeria in the global edition of the contest with the chance of winning $150,000. The team of judges for the event comprised well known fashion personalities such as Agabani Darego, Taofeek Okoya, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Declan Eytan, Lola Maja, Bola Balogun and the Senior Marketing Manager of PepsiCo International, Mr. Shakeel Akram.
