All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kogi, Audu Abubakar (68) is dead.
Prince Audu, who took part in the state’s election conducted by INEC on Saturday, November 22, 2015, died in the early hours of today (Sunday, November 23, 2015).
A source in Kogi state confirmed the rumour saying, “He’s dead. My friends in APC just confirmed to me”.
His party, APC has also confirmed the story as true.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, has however, declared the election inconclusive since the number of cancelled votes was more than the difference between Audu Abubakar of APC and Capt. Idris Wade of PDP.
Audu Abubakar is from Ogbonicha Alloma in Ofu Local Government Area in the state.
