Ayiri Emami is a man that sure knows how to spoil a woman! The Warri-based billionaire oil tycoon did not only present his wife with a N75 million Rolls Royce as birthday present, he also staged a birthday soiree for her at Del Frisco’s Grille in Houston, Texas (United States of America).His wife, Asba turned a year older yesterday (Thursday, October 23) and woke up to a bling Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead – she couldn’t have wished for a better birthday.
Dressed in white bathrobes, the couple walked to their front door to receive the gleaming $470,000 marque. Ecstatic Asba, whom he married at a lavish three-day ceremony in December 2009, couldn’t hide her joy.
The Delta born chief came into prominence during the tenure of Chief James Ibori as governor (1997-2007). With his 911 group, he has a beach resort in Ugborodo, hotel in Warri and a record label, among other enterprises.
Many said he began as a militant, but his appointment into the Delta Waterways Security Committee, first as Vice Chairman and later Chairman in 2013, elevated his profile.
At some point,Ayiri Emami reportedly did business with Chevron and a few other oil companies.
Dubbed Mr.Bash, his December 25,26 and 27,2009 wedding reclassified him as a show man to watch.
His bachelor’s eve (attended by Richard Mofe Damijo, Nollywood actor and Commisioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta, and legions of Niger Delta movers and shakers) was hosted in three cities – London (United Kingdom), Lagos and Warri (Nigeria).
The wedding (graced by Chief James Ibori and Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor) had A-list performers, from 2Face Idibia, PSquare, DBanj, Ikechukwu, Yinka Ayefele to Mad Mellon and Black Mountain. Ali Baba led comedians, including Basketmouth.
There was a glittering N70 million Rolls Royce Phantom leading other luxury auto mobiles specially purchased for the wedding.
Ayiri Emami reportedly sent a huge donation for 2Face and Annie Macaulay’s March 23,2013 wedding in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Many claimed that he bankrolled the nuptials, which he attended.
