Baby boom at 2015 RCCG Holy Ghost Convention – 114 children delivered in one week

THE 63rd Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Holy Ghost annual convention tagged, All Sufficient God, has come and gone.  However, the just concluded Christian largest congregational service will forever remain memorable to many, especially those who were blessed with bundles of joy at the popular religious occasion officiated by the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.

ENCOMIUM Weekly has it on good authority that a total of 114 babies were born during the Holy Ghost Service held between Monday, August 3 and Sunday, August 9, 2015, at the church’s convention ground along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

Out of these babies, 56 were said to be boys while 58 were girls.

The parents of the new fruits of the womb, we gathered, were very joyous and elated about the arrival of the tots.

“This year’s Holy Ghost Service was greeted by a lot of blessings as usual.  Many people were delivered of one problem or the other, while some smiled home with new born babies delivered during the convention.  I learnt some of the mothers of these babies have been waiting on the Lord for a long while, some have been pregnant for a very long time but got delivered at the crusade.

“As usual, the number of worshippers and outsiders that converged for this year’s annual convention was beyond expectation.  There’s no official record of the worshippers because people trooped in from far and wide whether or not they are members of the church.  The place was just a Mecca of sort.”
