Bachelor music acts with baby mamas

CHILDREN are always a source of joy to their parents and everyone around them, but the African culture frowns at having children out of wedlock.  Since it has become a norm, especially amongst our music stars who are supposed to be role models to the young ones, we have no choice but to accept things as they are.

ENCOMIUM Weekly puts on parade 10 of Nigeria’s biggest music acts who are baby daddies.

 

WIZKID

Star boy, as he is popularly known, is no doubt, one of Nigeria’s hottest and most successful music acts.  He has a son with Olusola Ogudugu, named Boluwatife, who is four now.

The baby mama was said to be in her final year at the North American University, Cotonou, Benin Republic when she got pregnant.  The Pakurumo crooner was reported to have denied fathering the child till a paternity test proved him wrong.

Wizkid showers Boluwatife with so much love now, so does his family.  Wizkid and Olusola have obviously moved on but are in very good terms.

Wizkid has been in a relationship with socialite, Tania Omotayo for a while now.

 

KAYSWITCH

Kehinde Oyebanjo, popularly known as Kayswitch, is also in the baby daddies league. His baby mama, Meenakashi Monica Subramani is said to be a beauty queen from Liberia.

The pair welcomed their patter of tiny feet in March 2014, she is named Kaylami Rain Oyebanjo.

Sometime last year, in an interview with ENCOMIUM Weekly, the For Example crooner, who is a kid brother to super star, D’Banj said he would get married to his baby mama one day but didn’t say when exactly.

 

ORITSEFEMI

The Double Wahala crooner, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, popularly known as Oritsefemi, is a double baby daddy, as he has two adorable daughters from two different women.

The 30 year-old self-acclaimed international super star whose daughters are between nine and 10 years old has said he won’t be getting married to any of his baby mamas.

 

OLAMIDE

Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Baddo, joined the baby daddies club in January 2015.  The baby mama, Adebukunmi Suleiman is said to be his girlfriend who he was with for about five years before the birth of their son, Maximi-lliano Adedeji.

 

MAY D

Akinmayokun Awodunmila, popularly known as May D, welcomed a son with his baby mama, Adebola Olowoporoku in January 2013.  The Ile Ijo crooner is said to have dated Adebola for about eight years before the birth of their son.

According to the baby mama, she broke up her relationship with May D in December 2014, after enduring brutal beating from him for several years.

 

ICE PRINCE

Panshak Zamani with stage name Ice Prince, one of Nigeria’s top rappers also caught the baby daddy bug.  His baby mama, Bimbo Babatunde delivered a baby boy, Toluwalashe Jamal in March 2012.  The O leku crooner was said to have denied paternity of the child at first but accepted responsibility as he grew.  Ice Prince doesn’t talk much about his personal life but was sure to let everyone know that he has a decent relationship with his baby mama and makes out time to be with his son when he can

 

DAVIDO

David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, is the newest music act who is a baby daddy.  He and his baby mama, Sophie Momodu welcomed their beautiful daughter in May 2015.  He was said to be excited about being a father even before the baby came.

Sophie Momodu who is reportedly the cousin of Ovation magazine’s Dele Momodu is 29, while Davido is 22.

 

TIMAYA

Enetimi Alfred Odon, better known by his stage name, Timaya is also a baby daddy with two children from one woman, Barbara.

Their first daughter named Emmanuella Perere was born in May 2012, while the second daughter named Grace was birthed in July 2015

 

SEUN KUTI

Oluseun Anikulapo-Kuti, commonly known as Seun Kuti is also a baby daddy.  He and his baby mama, Yetunde Ademiluyi welcomed their baby girl, Oyindamola Ifafunmike Adara Anikulapo-Kuti in December 2014.

 

FLAVOUR

Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, can be referred to as the ‘King of Queens’ has two daughters from two ex-beauty queens.

The first baby mama, Sandra Okagbue, who is the winner, Face of Delta Soap 2010 welcomed her baby girl, Gabrielle in September 2014.

Baby mama number two, Anna Ebiere Banner also delivered a baby girl, Sophie, in July 2015.  Anna won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant in 2013 and repre-sented Nigeria at the 2013 Miss Universe pageant.
