Being single bothers me, says TITI OSINOWO

Yoruba actress, Titi Osinowo has been keeping a low profile for some time now. In a chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly, the soap opera actress reveals that being single actually bothers her and lots more.

What have you been doing, we have not been seeing your face in movies recently?            

I have not been doing anything really, just lying low. I have been keeping a low profile.

What are you working on presently? Have you produced a movie?

I am not working on anything for now and I have not produced any movie. Like I said I’m keeping a low profile though I did an English soap in march produced by LA Skerry.

How would you rate the Yoruba movie sector now?

I believe the Yoruba movie sector has improved a lot.

Do you see yourself taking up roles in English films?  

I have done lots of English soap and yes I see myself taking up roles in English films.

What is your take on piracy?

It’s killing the producers and the Nigerian movie industry but I believe with the help of the government it’ll be eradicated.

What do you want the government to do for the industry concerning piracy?       

The government should start by raiding the so called Alaba market and ask the Nigeria Police to arrest anyone selling pirated movies because most of the movies sold in traffic are pirated.

What does love mean to you?

Love means a lot to me. First, God is love. Love is about sacrifices, it endures. Love means a lot to me because I believe in love.

Does being single bother you at all?

Yes, being single worries me, but I believe in God’s time.

What are the qualities you would like to see in your spouse?

A God-fearing, hardworking and humble man.

What is your reaction to Boko Haram sect, who are sleeping with women and children?

I believe they are demon possessed people.

What do you want the government to do for the 214women who were impregnated while in captivity of Boko Haram?

The government should make sure they rehabilitate them before sending them to their parents. The pregnant ones should be allowed to deliver and they should be oriented well with God’s words.
