Blind woman regains her sight overnight after hitting head on coffee table

A woman who went blind at 11 has miraculously regained her sight after she hit her head on a coffee table.

Lisa Reid (from Auckland, New Zealand), who went blind several years ago due to a tumour which pressed down on her optic nerve, regained her sight completely in incredible fashion when she accidentally knocked her head into a coffee table on November 15, 2000.

Ms Reid, who is now a mother to daughter Maddison, told her story to raise awareness of New Zealand’s Blind Foundation.
