THE sixth edition of Best of Nollywood Awards (BON) was attended by Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru and the Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Otelemaba D. Amacheree, among other top government officials.

It was hosted by movie star, Fred Amata and OAP, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi. The prestigious awards equally attracted Nollywood stars, including Liz Benson, Patience Ozokwor, Kenneth Okonkwo, Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Yinka Quadri, Nobert Young, Emem Isong, Desmond Elliot, Iyabo Ojo, Ayo Adesanya, Foluke Daramola, Chinedu Ikedieze, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Dickson Iroegbu, Jeta Amata, Ejiro Okurame, Ireti Osayemi, Moyo Lawal, Nkem Ike, Fati Zanna and others.

Also at the Rivers seat of power were top comedians Okey Bakassi, Ayo Makun (AY) and Gbenga Adeyinka 1st. Jaywon and ex-label mate (in Kennis Music) Jo’el thrilled at the movie awards founded by Seun Oloketuyi.

Highlight of BON Awards 2014 was the conferment of Lifetime Achievement Awards on pioneer actress, Rev. Elizabeth Amaye (Liz Benson), veteran film maker, Adebayo Salami, Norbert Young and Kasimu Yero.
