A ‘brave’ woman who wanted to show the reality of life under the Islamic State has filmed a shocking video after she placed a hidden camera under her niqab – traditional garb which covers the face.
The shocking footage shows life inside Syria’s northern city of Raqqa – which is under the control of the Islamic State; in the clip, the streets are seen filled with armed men and women, some wearing the niqab, but carrying rifles.
The commentary on the video says: “It is a woman that is secretly filming while risking her life.”
