Encomium
A Memorial Service was held on, Wednesday, July 7, 2015, at St Paul’s Cathedral in Hyde Park (London, the United Kingdom) to remember the 52 killed in 7/7 London bombings 10 years ago.
The wreath laying ceremony took place at 8:30 am – very close to the time the explosions went off. The service was attended by some of the 700 people injured in the attacks, relatives of the dead, the Duke of Cambridge, the Mayor of London and the Prime Minister.
The names of the 32 victims were read out before a minute silence was held across much of the country and London buses came to halt.
On July 7, 2005, four suicide bombers blew up three London underground trains and a double decker bus during the morning rush hour.
