Britain is set to experience above-average temperatures for the next three months, which would usher in warm weather, according to the Met Office.
Following a wet August, sunshine and rising temperatures should finally arrive in many areas this week and continue into the weekend. Parts of the South are expected to experience highs of 27C on Thursday (September 4) and 25C on Friday (August 5).
Forecaster, Krista Mitchell, added that the overall temperature for September will be around 17C, but temperatures leading up to this weekend could hit 27C.
