British royal wedding : George and Charlotte get role in Aunty Pippa Middleton’s wedding

As Philippa Charlotte “Pippa” Middleton, younger sister of Catherine who is the Duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince William, announced her engagement to millionaire fiancé James Mathew on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, an opportunity is presented to Prince George (3 years) and Princess Charlotte (1 year old) , the royal  children of William and Catherine,  to step out into the social world as page boy or ring bearer and flower girl respectively.

James Matthews, 40, was reported to have proposed to Middleton on Sunday, July 17, 2016, in northwest England’s Lake District, handing the 32 year old a gigantic diamond sparkling  ring.

The news has gotten everyone at the royal house excited as the wedding ceremony is billed to take place sometime in 2017.

Middleton who is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh with an English literature degree,  became popular after her role as bridesmaid during the wedding ceremony which saw her elder sister Kate marry Prince William in a glamorous ceremony at the Westminster Abbey in April 2011.

Pippa’s future father-in-law, David Matthews, is the Laird of Glen Affric and owns a 10,000-acre Scottish estate near Loch Ness in the Scottish highlands.

When David dies, James will inherit the title and Pippa will have a courtesy title of Lady Glenaffric as his wife. She can use the title in the Commonwealth.
