Interestingly, the world record N10 billion 80,000 seater auditorium embarked upon by reputable Abuja based prophet, simply known as Bro. Joshua Iginla is almost completed.

ENCOMIUM Weekly’s checks have revealed that the first phase of construction is being roofed at the moment and all hands on deck to ensure that the structure is completed as planned.

According to a close source, work was in full force to ensure that the ultramodern structure reached a meaningful completion when they staged their 9th anniversary in December 6, 2015.

“In fact, I can tell you authoritatively that as it’s being called, its a city of wonders. All the necessary structures are put in place to ensure it’s ideal for useage as from December 6, 2015. The anniversary would be the convergence of who is who in the society who have been trooping the city of wonders to confirm the reality of this heavenly structure being put on ground by Bro. Iginla. The reality on ground always overwhelm them and they can’t but agree that this is surely divine backing at work.”

It was pomp and pageantry as millions across the world joined Champions Royal Assembly in celebrating the birthday bash of their General overseer, Bro. Joshua Iginla on Sunday, June 28, 2015 inside their ongoing 80,000 sitting capacity auditorium labelled City of Wonders tucked inside the Chikakore axis of Kubwa, Abuja.

The celebrated prophet who was a year older enjoyed a triple celebration that day. Aside his birthday celebration, he also dedicated and presented the 33 classic books he authored all at once which is a rare feat and 25 years behind the pulpit. He also used that to unveil the multibillion naira 80,000 seater city of Wonders which began barely mid last year.

Interestingly, celebrities such as Alex Osifor, Ejike Asiegbu, Tony Umez, Francis Duru, Fathia Balogun, Ireti Osayemi, Funsho Adeolu, Paul Obazele, Larry Koldsweat, Bruno Iwuoha, Blessing Patrick, Thelma Nwosu, Ngozi Orji, Ayo Emmanuel, business moguls, politicians and several others across the globe all identified with the powerful Clergy who simply loved to be identified as Bro. Joshua Iginla. According to them while congratulating him in Champions television founded by Bro. Iginla they said, “He has touched their lives and lives around the world and that he is a true example of humility, love and genuine clergy who practised what he preaches. Thus, we celebrate you”

The colourful event was spiced up by the superlative performance of guest artistes such as Onyeka Onwenu, Tope Alabi, Chris Morgan, Asu Ekiye, Solomon Lange and several others.

The birthday boy who is incurably a true giver also dashed out 22 cars to celebrities and other members. Tope Alabi picked a Volkswagen Passat, Ireti Oshayemi got a Toyota Corolla while Fathia Balogun and Funsho Williams both received a Toyota Camry. While Larry Koldsweat went home with a Mazda, Zack Orji was given a Toyota Islander jeep.

Champions City of Wonders is arguably a record breaking 80,000 capacity auditorium which will perhaps be the biggest in the world when completed. It sits on two hectares of land with 350 toilets and four floors. Surprisingly, the world class ultra modern auditorium has 12 escalators, nine electronically operated elevators and three hectares of car park.

Speaking about the new auditorium during the Ministers conference on Saturday, June 27, 2015 titled, Fire in My Bone, held inside the new auditorium, the amiable clergy said,” This is surely the work of Grace as we owe no bank a dime nor did we borrow any money from any bank to build this city of Wonders. In fact, it’s the architect and the engineers I am waiting for to complete the structure as the provisions are on ground. As regards the issue of who my spiritual father is, I can tell you that my appearance is not magical. I have spent 25 years behind the pulpit and my Spiritual father as directed by God is Yonggi cho”.
