Buhari commissions West Africa’s largest brewery in Ogun

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on companies, operating in the country, to take full advantage of the industrial opportunities Nigeria offer.
He said this is because the country is rated very high, in the area of ease of doing business, while officially commissioning the International Breweries Plc, Flowergate Industrial Scheme factory, along the Sagamu-Abeokuta expressway, yesterday.
Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha, he urged other states to emulate Ogun’s industrial stride,  which according to him, will help the nation’s economy grow.
Assuring the international community of an improved economic development, he appreciated the company for creating employment opportunities for the teeming youths.
Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, in his address, said the state has attracted more businesses, due to its strategic location and the massive security plan, put in place by his administration, saying these have given the state added advantage to attract local and foreign investors.
While calling on companies operating in the state, to continue to pay their taxes, in support of the lofty industrial policies of the government, he pledged his administration’s commitment to creating enabling environment for investors to thrive.
He explained that the decision to expand the Sagamu-Abeokuta expressway, into a 10-lane dual carriageway, was in anticipation of the large presence of investments along the axis.
