Buhari set to win APC presidential primaries by simple majority… polls 3,430 votes

Former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari is set to win the All Progressives Congress presidential primaries (which is still on at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, at 4:45 p.m on Thursday, December 11, 2014).

Gen. Buhari polled 3,430 votes against Alhaji Atiku’s 954 votes.

Other aspirants Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Alhaji Rabiu Kwakwanso and Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah are awaiting counting of votes arranged alphabetically.

Many had ‘given the day’ to Gen. Buhari, highly considered as upright and strict.

If he’s eventually declared winner, he will stand against President Goodluck Jonathan (whose primaries was ratified by Peoples Democratic Party’s delegates yesterday in Abuja) in the 2015 elections.

This will be General Buhari’s third shot at the presidency.
