Buhari trounces Atiku – Surpasses 1,000 votes already

At 3:31 p.m, the votes of General Muhammadu Buhari surpassed Alhaji Abubakar Atiku’s 954 votes …setting the former Head of State up to win the All Progressives Congress presidential primaries.

Many believe that Buhari will win by simple majority when the votes are finally officially announced and the flagbearer declared later today.

Three other aspirants’ votes – Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Alhaji Rabiu Kwakwanso and Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah – are yet to be counted at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere (Lagos) venue of the primaries on Thursday, December 11, 2014.

The primaries began yesterday (Wednesday, December 10) with about 8,000 accredited delegates from across the nation.
