Burial of Toyin Kolade’s mother shakes Ilesa to its foundation

All roads led to Ilesa, Osun state, on Saturday, April 29, 2017, as popular businesswoman and CEO of Fisolak Global Resources Ltd, Princess Toyin Kolade buried mom, Madam Comfort Adejuyigbe, amid pomp.

The lavish ceremony which held at Kings Mega Events Centre, Ife Road, Ilesa, Osun state, attracted guests from far and near. It was, indeed, a convergence of creme de la creme from all spheres of life ranging from entertainers, high society pillars, politicos, captains of industry, royal fathers and others.

Among the dignitaries at the carnival like burial were, Ooni of Ife, HIs Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja 2), ably represented by his wife, Olori Wuraola Otiti Ogunwusi, Owa Obokun of Ijesa land (also represented), Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akamo, Olu of Owode, Oba Tajudeen Kolawole Aremu, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Mayor Akinpelu, Dele Momodu, Alhaji Rasak Akanni (Lamex), Tai Elemoso, Queen Ayo Balogun, Iya Awero, Madam Saje, Yetunde Wunmi, Nike Peller, Iyabo Ojo, Lizzy Anjorin, Lola Sotayo, Deji Etiwe, Madam Kofo, Kudirat Ogunro, Biodun Okeowo, Saudi Balogun, Fathia Balogun, Bisi Ibidapo Obe and others.

The Lagos based tycoon and her siblings were all on hand ensuring guests were fully taken care of. And there was no dull moment throughout the event as Tungba gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele thrilled to high heavens. The event was anchored by famous Master of Ceremonies and radio presenter, Yomi Mate, better known as Ifa n ka leluyah.

Then, later in the evening, the guests were moved to Toyin Kolade’s house, a few kilometres away from the main venue of the event, for after party shindig which also attracted quality crowd. Fuji king, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, otherwise addressed as K1, was on the band stand till 4 am on Sunday, April 30, 2017 when the event was rounded off.
