CAMA 2017 postponed to October 29, 2017

The much anticipated Classic Africa Merit Award, CAMA 2017 has been postponed to October 29, 2017, inside the exquisite 10 Degrees Events Centre, Off Oregun Road, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Speaking with newsmen in his Lagos office, the publisher of Classic Magazine and Organizer of the event, Mr. Dave Agwazim cited reasons bordering on logistics and other unavoidable circumstances as the major reasons why the event is being shifted from 24th September to October 29th, noting that every other arrangement remains.
He further stated that the seventh edition of the highly respected award event is designed to chat the way forward for economic prosperity of Nigeria as erudite scholars across the country are billed to lend their voices towards the nation getting out of the woods of recession.
Mr. Agwazim said that management and staff of Classic International Magazine regrets the inconveniences the changes might have coursed the larger society, as all hands are on deck to present a befitting anniversary with national outlook.
Designed to celebrate the 8th anniversary of Classic International Magazine, this year’s edition of the most sought after award event across African continent promise to cut across the frontiers of this country to other parts of Africa.
With the cry of marginalization and strong agitation for secession across the nation more than ever, organizers of the award led by the publisher of Classic Magazine, Mr. Dave Agwazim has decided to chat a way forward for the nation with the gathering of eminent personalities to deliberate on the missing link in our nationhood and how to get out of the quagmire, hence the theme “Roadmap to Political Stability and Economic Prosperity in Nigeria”.
Under the leadership of Chief Emeka Anyaoku, former United Nations Secretary General and Professor Wole Soyinka as Chairmen, our ebullient discussant will robustly look at these issues as they affect our unity as a nation and way out of recession.
Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will serve as the Lead Speaker while Chief Edwin Clark, Professor Jerry Gana, Gen. Alani Akinrinade and Dr. Dora Akunyili will serve as discussants.
Others are His Excellency, Mr. Donald Duke, Professor Pat Utomi, His Excellency Obong Victor Attah, Chief Ayo Adebanjo and Chief Olisa Agbakuba.
The indefatigable governor of Lagos State, Dr. Akinwunmi Ambode is the host governor, Africa’s richest man and industrialist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote is the Special Guest of Honour while Deacon Iyke Kanu, the chairman of Classic Magazine is the Chief Host.
Distinguished sons and daughters of African descent, nay brands will be honoured with merit awards for their dexterity and quality service within the year under review.
