CAPITAL FEMI Opens up on his exit from Kennis Music

Popular RnB artiste, Femi Adeyinka, also known as Capital FEMI has opened up about his departure from Kennis Music.

The handsome dude who has been evasive about his exit said in a phone chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Monday, June 8, 2015, “Yes, it is true. I am no longer with Kennis Music. You cannot run away from change.”

We further probed if there was a rancor between him and Kennis Music, “I still have a relationship with Kennis Music. Mr. Kenny Ogungbe is my father and mentor. I thank him for everything. There is no rancor at all. I have a new team. We will get in touch with you as soon as my team is ready.”

The news of his exit from Kennis Music was made public, via his twitter handle a couple of days back where he formally made the announcement.

“Let me say a big thank you, sir @kennyogungbe, it’s a big honour knowing you and working with you. I appreciate the love.”

The rumour mill insisted the artiste is ready to sign more juicy contract, that is why he dumped Kennis Music by refusing to renew his contract with them. Some alleged that Capital FEMI’s career would have gone a step further if he had pitched his tent with another record label immediately he stepped into the shores of the country.

Though his new management has not yet been unveiled, sources squealed to ENCOMIUM Weekly that he has something in the offing. It was gathered that he is in the studio working. He will be releasing some songs in a couple of weeks.

Capital FEMI signed unto Kennis Music in 2009, before he finally relocated to Nigeria in 2010. His agreement with Kennis Music expired few months ago. The singer however did not renew his contract with the record label.
