Celebrities in Ghana honour Omosexy @ 38

Sexy and multi-talented Nollywood screen goddess, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, famously known as Omosexy was in the gold city of Accra, Ghana, recently to renew her contract with Ghandour Cosmetics beautyline as the brand ambassador of Bo-16 Hair relaxer. Omosexy also launched the second season of her reality show, Omotola, The real me, produced by Ifactory and GOTV. It will be airing in April on Africa Magic entertainment channel on DSTV. The first season which featured only Omotola was launched in 2012, but this time, the second season will feature the family of the celebrity actress which include her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde and their four children. In this regard, Omosexy, as she is popularly called, said she got angry back then when the pictures of her daughter which were posted on the internet were described with words that were meant for an adult and the media went as far as mentioning the name of her school, which didn’t go down well with her as a parent.

She added that “Now, they are all grown and as parents, we are ready to support them so as to help project and nurture whatever talents they have deposited in them. Now they have personal careers they are pursuing and I hope it’s more about what they are doing as young people who actually, in their own rights are role models to other children, even though they can be doing other things. I hope they can show parents out there that it is not all about education. When your child has a gift, it’s from God, help and support them to harness their gifts because your gift can take you before kings and queens, not necessarily your work, not your education, and I pray to God my children can handle them”.

The gorgeous mother of four children was, however, given a surprise birthday party which was put together by her friend, a lawyer and women advocate, Penelope John-Mensah. The bash had in attendance top Ghanaian celebrities like sexy and curvy Jocelyn Dumas, international top model, Victoria Michaels, Becca, Gena West, and a host of other top personalities, who all came out to felicitate with the beautiful actress who clocked 38 on February 7, 2016, while on official trip to Ghana.

Omotola also visited the popular Osu Orphanage in Accra to show love by donating gift items to the children and also spent some quality time with them, which was well appreciated as seen in the way they welcomed the screen goddess into their home.

The Nollywood queen with a huge fan base in Accra was so appreciative of the kind gestures bestowed on her by sharing some of the pictures of the event on her social media with the caption “Thank u#surfline for surprising me on #set with gifts and a lovely cake! Can I have my birthday every month #Ghana is #bae#Feb 7”.
