SIDNEY ESIRI
Popular musician, Sidney Esiri announced he was expecting his first child at the Channel O music video awards in South Africa in November 2014. The medical doctor turned singer joined the league of fathers on March 16, 2015 after his wife delivered in the US. The beautiful couple had a spell binding nuptial in August 2014 in Lagos. He named his daughter, Sidney Onoriode Esiri.
GIDEON OKEKE
Nollywood dude, Gideon Okeke became a father in 2015. He welcomed a baby boy on March 16, 2015 from a yet to be known baby mama. He took to social media to announce the good news, “Forever thankful, God is good, daddy duties.”
VENITA AKPOFURE
Model video vixen and actress, Venita Akpofure delivered a bouncing baby girl on April 9, 2015. The excited Delta State born lady couldn’t conceal her joy, she took to the social media to make the announcement. She spoke with ENCOMIUM Weekly about her motherhood experience. “It’s quite confusing in a beautiful way. You are over-whelmed with feelings of awe and compassion. You become incredi-bly protective. You feel blessed and very passionate about everything in this world that is around your bundle of joy. If I had to sum it up in a sentence, I feel complete is the right way to say it.”
OLAWALE ASHIMI
Ara crooner also joined the club of fathers in 2015. Olawale Ashimi also known as Brymo welcomed a baby boy with his long time girlfriend, Esse Kakada who he calls Ayanfe. Esse delivered the baby boy on March 27, 2015 and the crooner named him Olanrewaju. Speaking about how it feels to be a father, he said, “I was stunned when I laid eyes on him. It feels great, very exciting. I just might have a future president birthed to me. I am really happy.”
ADAEZE YOBO
Ex-beauty queen, Adaeze Yobo was a mom for the second time in 2015. She had an all white baby shower in January 2015. The baby popped out on March 31, 2015 at 7.57 a.m. Her husband, Joseph Yobo, a former Super Eagles captain named his child, Jayden. Joseph and Adaeze got married in 2010 and are based in Turkey. Their first child, a boy is four years old. Speaking about motherhood, she said, “It’s been a wonderful experience being a mother to these wonderful sons of mine.”
D’PRINCE
Younger brother of prolific producer, Don Jazzy, became a father in 2015. D’Prince welcomed a baby boy on May 13, 2015. The baby was born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Fans are still kept in the dark about the identity of the baby mama. But he calls her the love of his life, as he posted when the baby popped into the world.
D’Prince was happy to become a father, he had this to say, “There comes a time when a boy has to become a man. The love of my life gave me a bouncing baby boy. To God be the glory. Now, I feel my life has a purpose, to live for my boy #newdaddy.”
UCHE JOMBO
Abia born thespian, Uche Jombo Rodriguez tied the nuptial knot in 2012 with her Puerto Rican lover, Kenny Rodriguez. She welcomed a baby boy on May 28, 2015 and named him Matthew. After losing her first pregnancy, luck smiled on her and she became pregnant again. She had her baby shower on Friday, April 24, 2015, at an intimate occasion. Uche couldn’t hide her joy when her baby was born. She posted on social media, “Baby Matthew is here, just one look at him and the world is alright with me. Yeah, it’s a lovely day. Thank you Jesus. Thank you all for your prayers. We are grateful
and thankful for this gift of life.”

Sexy actor, I. K. Ogbonna and wife, Sonia Morales welcomed their first baby together. The 24 year-old model delivered a baby boy on Saturday, June 20, 2015. The talented actor named him, Ace. Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly about fatherhood, I.K said, “It feels beautiful. It is a wonderful feeling and experience. God gives us life and it is wonderful to create life out of yourself and soulmate. It’s really a blessing to have a wonderful son. I feel blessed and honoured. I hope to become the best example of fatherhood my son has.”
Also speaking on his baby’s name, he said, “When you check the dictionary or in cards, Ace is a winning card. It is a game changer. In every situation, there is an ace, it signifies a winning situation.”
TIWA & TEEBILLZ
Sonorous singer, Tiwa Savage and her handsome manager cum husband, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz welcomed the tiny patter of baby’s feet on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in the United States of America. Prior to the arrival of the baby, the couple took to the social media to announce to the world that they were expecting a baby in the beginning of the year, “2015…just the 3 of us, all glory to God,” with a picture of herself, her growing baby bump and husband on display. The couple walked down the aisle in a spectacular wedding in Dubai in April, 2014.
Their love journey started a couple of years back after Teebillz took up the job of managing the first lady of Mavin Records. It turned into a romantic relationship and the couple was blessed with a baby boy thereafter.

DJ Neptune became a father on June 21, 2015. The handsome dude had a baby girl from his wife. He named her Princess Janelle Imohuosen. Speaking about fatherhood, he said, “It feels good. I feel like every other father would feel. I can’t explain it, it is not something anybody can best describe. I cannot find words to describe it.”
He further told us how he is enjoying the experience, “It is really nice. Having yours is a lot of difference, knowing that someone has come who needs your attention, looking up to you as a father. It’s a great feeling.”

Like other celebrities, he also took to the social media to announce the good news. “Emma has a sister. Thank you Lord.” Barbara had her baby shower on Easter Monday, April 6, 2015. Their first daughter, Emmanuella Perepe is three years old.

Self acclaimed Omo baba olowo, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, welcomed a baby girl with his baby mama, Sophia Momodu. Sophia birthed their patter of tiny feet on Friday, May 15, 2015 in the United States of America. Davido was present at his baby mama’s baby shower which was held a few weeks before the baby arrived.

Ex-Big Brother Africa winner, Karen Igho also became a mother in 2015. Since her secret marriage to Yaroslav Rakos in December 2014, the controversial woman relocated abroad. Karen put to bed on July 4, 2015 at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital, New York, USA. She took to the social media to announce the arrival of her son. “Finally, my son is here. Welcome to my world. Nollywood hunk, Jim Iyke welcomed a baby boy from his Lithuanian girlfriend of many years, Dana Kinduryte at Grady Hospital, Atlanta on September 1, 2015. Jim Iyke named his baby, Harvis Chidubem Iyke. Jim was present when the baby was delivered. He even assisted in the delivery.

Super Eagles and Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obiwelcomed his twin on Friday, September 18, 2015 in United Kingdom. The elated father announced the arrival of his bundles of joy via his Instagram page saying, “My whole world in my arms welcome to the world my angels #twins.”
Mikel and his long time girlfriend, Olga Diyachenko never dropped any indications that she was pregnant, so this was a surprise for everyone. UK Daily Mirror reported about Mikel having two children with two different women, the Chelsea star, however, didn’t deny the allegation.

The talented actress had her third child, a girl in the US at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Centre, Baltimore on December 12, 2015 at 3.36 p.m. Her husband, Prince Odi Okojie was air borne when he received the good news.
