Just few days to eight anniversary of his mega ministry, humble preacher and shepherd-in-charge of Champions Royal Assembly, Brother Joshua Iginla, has expanded his new auditorium project to a 80,000 seater auditorium at Kubwa in Abuja called Champions Wonderland.
In an exclusive chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Friday, November 28, 2014, his media aide, Mr. Francis, revealed that one major twist in the on-going project is that the design is now 80,000-seater capacity with other facilities in the wonderland and the bill is over N10 billion.
“I can tell you authoritatively now that the construction is now 80,000-seater capacity. Both the architectural designer, civil engineer and contractors have effected the plan and it has been approved. The budget is now N10 billion and will be completed without hitch.”
ENCOMIUM Weekly’s check confirmed that the fiery prophet who hails from Ekiti has acquired more massive acres of land to accommodate the facilities that will come with the wonderland and work is ongoing. ENCOMIUM Weekly gathered that the project is being handled by one of the reliable construction agencies in the world whose identity we are yet to ascertain.
According to our source, the move became necessary due to the continuous explosion of worshippers the ministry is experiencing weekly and the former auditorium could not accomodate even the children. Thus, the church began their expansion early this year.
Meanwhile, we gathered that the ministry will still have their eight anniversary at the uncompleted structure on Sunday, December 7, 2014. A lot of preparations are ongoing to make it a memorable event.
Bro. Joshua Iginla began his ministry in 2006, in his living room at Millionaire Quarters, Byazhin, Kubwa, Abuja.
One of the Sunday’s at Millionaire Quarters, an elderly woman slumped in the church. Rather than panic, the prayer was intensified and in few minutes, by the mercy of God, the woman came back to life. The story spread around town like wild fire, and subsequently, the church began to experience an overflow of congregation and under four months, God blessed the church with a cathedral, one of the biggest in Byazhin and the church continued to experience so much spread and so much happenings, all manners of miracles, breakthroughs, age long barrenness terminated and healings of all manners. The church has branches locally and internationally and with their own TV station, Champions TV.
Brother Joshua as he is fondly called is happily married with kids.
