Chaos as acquitted Dewani leaves Cape Town

British business man, Shrien Dewani has boarded a flight out of South Africa amid chaos after being cleared of plotting his 28-year-old wife’s death on their honeymoon in November 2010.

Mr Dewani (34) arrived with members of his family at the Cape Town airport where they boarded an Emirates flight to Dubai.

Prosecutors claimed Dewani, who is bisexual, wanted to leave the relationship and arranged the carjacking during the couple’s trip to South Africa following their October 29, 2010 wedding. But Dewani’s defence team argued the case against him was weak, leading to the judge dismissing the case.
