Chief Kanran refutes being shot dead

‘That will never be my portion’

Veteran actor cum film maker has rubbished the tale making the rounds that he was on Thursday, August 24, 2017, shot dead by unknown gun men. He added it’s a mere fabrication.

Speaking with encomium.ng on Friday, August 25, 2017, the renowned theatre practitioner expressed shock and total discomfort about the tale, labeling those behind it as evil minded individuals. He therefore called on his teeming fans and the general public to disregard the tale as it’s only meant to cause unnecessary panic in the industry.

“I am shocked to hear that. Who said l was killed? And by who? That will never be my portion in Jesus name.

“I believe it’s coming from idle and all these evil minded persons who don’t want anything good for their fellow human beings. People shouldn’t just mind them, they just want to cause unnecessary tension in the industry and my family. I am very much alive, nothing happened to me. But if that’s the wish of that person, God will reward the person abundantly.”
