AT last, Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori has served talented singer, Ashimi Olawale, popularly known as Brymo, a court paper bordering on breach of contract.  Information available to ENCOMIUM Weekly revealed that due to the unpalatable treatment meted out on them during the last sitting on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division in Ikoyi, the record label boss legalized the proceeding on Monday, December 16, 2013, by officially serving Brymo the court papers.

Audu MaikoriIn an exclusive chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, Brymo, through his publicist and manager, Lanre Lawal admitted that they have been served the court papers.  “Yes, they have finally served us the court papers and the legal battle has commenced.  We will keep you posted.”

The widely publicized legal battle between popular artiste, Brymo and his estranged boss and CEO of Chocolate City, Audu Maikori was adjourned till 2014.

The legal battle failed to come up on Thursday, December 5, 2013, as the presiding judge, Justice Bubba of the Federal High Court didn’t sit, adjourning it till January 14, 2014.  It was gathered that the record label represented at the court by Miss C. O. Madubuko from L & A Legal Consultants are yet to serve Brymo the court papers.  Thus, it wasn’t strange that Brymo was not represented in court.
